It was learned from Chenzhou Transportation Bureau, the total amount of Chenzhou transportation construction hits 2.62 billion yuan from January to May, among which, the express way construction was fulfilled with 1.51 billion yuan, main roads with 190 million yuan, rural roads with 130 million, afforestation for roads with 350 million, projects like change ferry crossing to bridge with 440 million yuan. Chenzhou ranked the first among all other Hunan cities in transportation investment.

It was also learned that Xiarong, Hengwu, Yueru expressways are under good construction. Pavement of 115.5kms main roads projects will be finished. Chenyong road is on the process of cleaning the road surface and base. Pavement of 221.4kms rural roads will be accomplished, which accounts for 66.1% of total 335kms tasks. 23 projects with 408kms listed in “twelfth five-year” plan have passed the approval, among which 3 of them are closer to the end, 9 are on the process of construction drawing design, 9 has just started. 4079kms greening work of roads have been accomplished , among which 1089kms main roads with 128% of year task, 2988 rural roads with 246% of year task are completed and 3.68 million trees are planted while 22 bridges are transformed.
